TLC E Learning

"TLC E Learning was introduced in the TLC curriculum in 2020 with various objectives, as follows:

1. Freedom of learning as per wish & need: The TLC curriculum is structured and sequential. The curriculum team strives to ensure the relevance of topics according to the business needs of different business models. However, as TLC members have a variety of business models and are in different phases of business, sometimes the TLC curriculum has limitations in addressing the business needs of the members at a given time. This problem creates a need for a platform where members can learn any topic on their own.

2. To match different learning paces of members: TLC members come from different geographical and educational backgrounds. Some members are fast learners, while others have limitations in grasping information at a faster pace. There is a need for a platform that allows faster members to move ahead, and at the same time, slower learners can revise topics for better understanding after the learning session.

3. To cross geographical boundaries: TLC always receives numerous requests from entrepreneurs in cities that have not been addressed until now. If TLC's vision of reaching out to 10,000 members is to be achieved, there is a need to develop a learning model that will not have geographical limitations.

4. To train employees of TLC members: It is expected that TLC learnings should penetrate the employees of TLC members. Many members have limitations when it comes to teaching by themselves. So, there is a need to have a tool that can be used to transfer TLC learnings effectively within their own organization.

With all the above-mentioned needs, it was decided to launch the TLC E Learning platform on the TLC portal in 2020. All topics are divided into small modules of 15 to 20 minutes. It includes lecture delivery by experts, reading material, a list of relevant videos available on the internet, and finally, exercises. Mentors use these E-learning modules to expose mentees to a need- based topic to resolve CBI or address KSF."
