    TLC started with  a well though bunch of 5 topics namely :

    1. HR
    2. Sales & Marketing
    3. Strategy
    4. World Class Processes (WCP)
    5. Finance

    About Subjects :

    Leadership sessions start with more thrust on self effectiveness such as integrity , energy & adaptive intelligence. The members are taught to think with growth mindset instead of fixed mindset. Goal setting is addressed with tools of planning , review of activities. Importance  of influencing subordinates to get the things done are discussed in leadership sessions .

    Sales & Marketing ( S&M) is the engine of growth of any business. In TLC curriculum , S&M subject starts with differentiation between sales & marketing . Marketing strategy is explained based on 4 P & 5 C concepts. Importance of value proposition & positioning is explained & members are encouraged to use the wordings in their promotional tools . Various avenues of Digital marketing & its importance in present world is emphasized.  On sales front , roles of a sales person , behavior during sales calls, negotiation techniques are demonstrated & practiced. Sales management covers ensuring effectiveness & efficiency of sales process, optimum use of sales person , training & coaching of sales team .

    HR being a neglected subject by SMEs, is treated in depth in TLC curriculum . The focus is only on HRD & HRM & not on IR & personnel management . It starts with ways to build positive relationships with employees & introduces to 4 perspectives of human being ( Body, Heart , Mind , Soul ) for engagement of employees . HR curriculum discusses various techniques to effectively recruit, retain people & develop them to deliver results through performance management systems ( KRA / KPI ) . At higher levels of HR subject , techniques of talent acquisition , strategic hiring are covered.

    World class processes is the key to survive in competitive world. TLC curriculum has given the deserved importance to this subject right from the day one . At basic level , members are introduced to basic concepts of 5S, RCA, visual factory ( PQCDM) , quality management techniques . Members are pushed to create culture of continuous improvement by implementing  tools such as kaizen , DSI ( Daily Small Improvement ), process management, waste management  .At higher levels, value stream mapping, SMED , inventory management techniques are covered.

    Process of curriculum development :

    It is ensured that the curriculum remains relevant by systematic review during an annual curriculum review meeting wherein all teachers brainstorm & revise the content , teaching methodology for each topic using collective wisdom . Each subject team in curriculum committee prepare a systematic document of knowledge / skill set & shares with level wise teams . Level wise teams selects the appropriate skillsets . Based on the feedback from level wise teams , curriculum team develops course material for each knowledge / skill set . This process is followed every year to maintain vibrant & relevant curriculum.
